    Candidate will work with a software development team and use an agile driven software development cycle with continuous integration to design and develop software applications.

    Responsibilities

    Possible projects may include:

    • Developing software for a thick-client geospatial application using a plugin architecture to extend and enhance capabilities to end-users
    • Implementing all phases of architecture, requirements gathering, design, development, integration, testing, and information assurance

    Qualifications

    Basic Qualifications

    • U.S. citizenship
    • Secret security clearance (or the ability to obtain one).  Prefer TS or TS/SCI.  We will sponsor clearances.
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
    • 3-6 yrs. of related experience in most of the following areas:
      • Full Stack software development
      • Experience with one or more of the following languages: Java/Android, C#, or another object-oriented language
      • Continuous Building, Testing, and Integration
      • Windows, Android, & Linux/Unix platform experience
      • Automated Testing Frameworks (Junit, Mocha, QUnit)

    Desired Skills

    • Experience with one or more of the following:
    • SCRUM Team leadership, product owner, or similar role on an Agile team
    • Technical leadership for a software development project
    • Geospatial Data Processing (GDAL, OGR, PostGIS)
    • Databases (PostGIS, SQLite)
    • Open-source geospatial libraries (Leaflet, OpenLayers, GeoServer)
    • Interface design experience in Java
    • Java Native Interface (JNI)
