  • Overview

    RGi is seeking a Financial Planner & Analyst (FP&A) to provide financial and business operations support at our headquarters in Fairfax, VA. The Financial Planner & Analyst is responsible for establishing, developing, and maintaining models and analyses supporting daily decision making and strategic growth.  The candidate needs to analyze financial and operations data providing upper management with briefings clearly articulating the complexity of metrics-based decisions within a fast-paced environment.

    The Financial Planner & Analyst supports the annual budget planning process providing metrics for incorporating strategic decisions and directions into our calendar year, and 3-year, financial plan.  The candidate prepares thoughtful and insightful monthly analysis of variances to budget/forecasts.

    • MS Excel Wizard
    • Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives
    • Review and analyze monthly financial reports - cash flow projections, financial metrics/ratios, book-to-bill, trend analysis and key performance indicators
    • Support month and quarter end close activities including variance analysis and cost accruals; prepare monthly/quarterly financial reporting package
    • Prepare analysis supporting decisions such as staffing levels, growth rates, rate on investment, payback periods, book-to-bill, and more
    • Analyze actual costs, budgets, and results compared to the forecast/plan
    • Perform ad hoc analysis of business operations to help management make informed, metric based decisions
    • Partner with accountant in ownership of forecasting, reporting module, and data structures
    • Provide surge support to the Operations team ensuring all members are successful



    • U.S. Citizenship
    • Secret clearance (or the ability to obtain one). We will sponsor clearances.
    • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field
    • 5-10 years of experience with emphasis in providing financial analysis and planning for a
    • Strong financial modeling skills required with a high level of proficiency in Excel
    • Analytical mindset with experience providing metrics for metrics based decision making
    • Possess excellent communication and presentation skills
    • Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
