    Reinventing Geospatial, Inc. (RGi) is looking for an Innovative Technical Lead to join our team. The Technical Lead will support ongoing development activities across several technical project areas to build and maintain complex Army systems. Your ability to translate real-world needs into well-designed and developed applications makes you an integral part of delivering our user-focused solutions.


    You will work on an Army engineering and integration project in support of Distributed Common Ground System – Army (DCGS-A), and the baseline improvement, technology insertion, and modernization efforts for Program Executive Office (PEO) Intelligence, Electronic Warfare & Sensors (IEWS) and System Integration Laboratory (SIL) I2WD facility at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG, MD).  This exciting project directly impacts our U.S. soldiers in the field, making them safer and more effective.


    As a Technical Lead on our team, you will help shape our customer’s mission by working side-by-side with other System Integrators and Software Engineers on activities related to application and system development, helping shape how solutions are built and how they are integrated into the larger Army enterprise system. In addition to shaping and guiding the activities of the team, you will interface directly with the customer and with the systems’ users, to provide demonstrations of applications, solicit feedback and help shape the direction the government will take with our development and engineering.


    Technical Lead Responsibilities

    • Apply creative forward thinking to determine technical solutions that further business goals, keeping in mind performance, reliability, scalability, usability, security, flexibility, and cost
    • As an Innovative Technical Lead, you will be responsible for architecture, technical project ownership and technical team leadership
    • Lead the architecture design, development, testing, and integration of new systems and capabilities
    • Provide oversight of the software development life-cycle in an Agile environment to include design, develop, test, and launch of applications and platforms that scale
    • Identify, analyze, & resolve program support deficiencies.  Present findings & recommendations for solutions to the customer
    • Define system implementation approaches and operational concepts, design & develop system architecture, while also defining key capabilities and performance metrics


    Technical Lead Basic Qualifications

    • U.S. Citizenship
    • TS or TS/SCI clearance (or the ability to obtain one).  We will sponsor clearances
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
    • Subject Matter Expert (SME) in scalable solutions, architectural design, and integration
    • 8+ yrs. of related experience in the following areas:
      • Geospatial, GEOINT, and IMINT solutions, including commercial technologies like ArcGIS, ENVI and SOCET GXP
      • Scalable, multi-installation Enterprise Server & client environments on Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Windows Server Operating Systems
      • Understanding of web development, web development frameworks, REST APIs and concepts for federated web and data architectures
      • Expert ability to communicate in both oral and written form with all levels of staff as well as customers

    Technical Lead Desired Skills

    • Experience working with Army Geospatial Engineers and Intelligence MOSs
    • Advanced Degree preferred (Computer Science or Systems Engineering, or related fields)
    • Knowledge of DCGS-A program, other DCGS programs (DCGS-MC, DCGS-N or AF-DCGS)
