    Reinventing Geospatial, Inc. (RGi) is looking for a talented and motivated Geospatial Imagery Analyst to join our team!  As a Geospatial Imagery Analyst, you will be supporting the development activities for our Intelligence customer.  The successful candidate for the Geospatial Imagery Analyst position requires an in-depth knowledge of industry leading Geospatial tools including the Esri ArcGIS Desktop tool set.  The Geospatial Imagery Analyst may be required to provide surge support during critical incidents affecting the Nation’s security.  Candidate will provide a broad range of Geospatial support functions in response to Intelligence Community & Department of Defense analysts needs. 

     

    The candidate must be self-starting, able to work well within a team environment and motivated to deliver innovative capabilities that directly impact national security.  The ability to perform complex analyses and to communicate its results using accurate, concise, and effective writing and through descriptive and graphical representations is a must!

    Responsibilities

    Geospatial Imagery Analyst Responsibilities

    • Optimize existing resources and develop advanced analytic methods to exploit GEOINT, SIGINT and HUMINT sources
    • Conduct multi-source research using advance statistical methods supporting target development, patterns of life and the identification and disruption of illicit supply chain activities
    • Create analytic geospatial/cartographic visual and graphics to include mapping to story boards and hot spot analysis
    • Conduct multi-source research, intelligence analysis and fusion of information from GEOINT, SIGINT, HUMINT and OSINT sources.  This includes using advanced analytic methods and tools such as geospatial information systems, spatial analysis, network analysis and geospatial analysis
    • Respond to various requirements for geospatial products and services
    • Provide geospatial analytics and geographic information systems (GIS) modeling support
    • Compile, acquire, and process raster and vector data and manages associated attribute tables
    • Integrate advanced GIS technologies and imagery to support intelligence analysis
    • Identify new geospatial and imagery exploitation techniques and methodologies and provides guidance on the techniques
    • Train customer personnel and serves as a technical consultant
    • Use existing or creates new GIS tools to conduct geospatial analysis in support of the Sponsor’s mission

    Qualifications

    Geospatial Imagery Analyst Basic Qualifications & Skills

    • U.S. Citizenship
    • TS/SCI with Polygraph required
    • Bachelor’s degree in Geography, GIS or computer science related field
    • Minimum of 12 years of experience with:
      • Working within the IC, the military, and/or the scientific community
      • Applying advanced methodologies exploiting GEOINT, SIGINT, OSINT and HUMINT
    • Demonstrated expertise in the use of relevant GEOINT and SIGINT tools and databases.
    • Subject Matter Expert in geospatial and temporal visualization and modeling, data analytics, spatial and geospatial statistics and geospatial information systems including ArcMap 10.x, ArcPro 2.0, Insights for ArcGIS
    • Proficient in geospatial software packages including Esri’s ArcGIS, Boundless’ QGIS, Erdas IMAGINE, ENVI, Remoteview and Google Earth
    • Ability to interpret and explain geospatial products to leadership
    • Knowledge and experience with digital cartography, image processing, and computer technology; knowledge of geographical information systems, geospatial production techniques, and digital data formats

    Geospatial Imagery Analyst Desired Qualifications & Skills

    • Master’s or Ph.D. in Geography, Statistics, Engineering or Computer Science
    • Familiarity with emerging technologies for analysis, geopolitical and intelligence issues
    • Development of Geospatial Products using ArcGIS Desktop tools
