    Reinventing Geospatial, Inc. (RGi) is looking for a Dev Ops / Systems Integrator to join our team. This position will oversee the development environment architecture as well as work in development teams utilizing a flexible agile driven software development cycle to build and maintain complex Army systems.  Your ability to translate real-world needs into technical specifications makes you an integral part of delivering customer focused engineering solutions.  On our team, you will have the opportunity to shape our customer’s mission by working side by side with other engineers on a complex software and systems design engineering effort.  On our team, you will broaden your skills by merging your systems engineering experience and design and development capabilities into customer deliverables working in an integrated team lab environment. 

    This position will work on an Army engineering and integration project, in support of the Intelligence and Information Warfare Directorate (I2WD), to improve the baseline, apply technology insertion and modernization efforts for Program Executive Office (PEO) Intelligence, Electronic Warfare & Sensors (IEW&S) and System Integration Laboratory (SIL) I2WD facility at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG, MD). 

    We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual with a solid IT background that wants to help us drive our customer and company missions forward. Candidate must be self-motivated, a quick learner, and able to balance simultaneous tasks to keep pace with our team of high performers.


    • Integrate Commercial-off-the-Shelf (COTS) / Government-off-the-Shelf (GOTS) applications and configure network and component configurations in support of software delivery to tactical units
    • Analyze and comprehend current system functional requirements to identify process and tool integration needs, system dependencies, integration points, system interfaces, and data flows
    • Be responsible for system design, development, architecture, and integration of in-house and third-party developed software packages into the baseline. The individual will conduct technical analysis of complex infrastructure and integration challenges and report findings to stakeholders
    • Design and implement scripts to automatically configure machine environments using tools such as Puppet or Chocolatey and scripting languages such as PowerShell and Python
    • Provide input to design and development teams, and monitor progress and productivity through the use of metrics
    • Act independently, supporting the geospatial implementation on large programs


    Systems Integrator Basic Qualifications

    • U.S. citizenship
    • Active TS/SCI clearance
    • BS Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical fields
    • 5+ yrs. of related experience in most of the following:
      • Software integration, troubleshooting, and application administration of large system-of-system (SoS) integration
      • Merge software and systems integration and development
      • Microsoft Windows Server 2008 / 20012R2, Red Hat Linux 6 / 7
      • Virtualization technologies using VMware and ESXI
      • Basic network troubleshooting for client / server applications
      • Ability to think critically and analytically in an enterprise and SoS environment

    Systems Integrator Desired Skills

    • Knowledge of Distributed Common Ground System –Army (DCGS-A) components with Army Battle Command (ABC) systems and processes preferred
    • Experience with scripting languages, including Bash, Python, Ruby, or PHP
    • Windows Power Shell or Pearl scripting experience
    • Enterprise server hardware maintenance
