  • Overview

    RGi is seeking a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our Cyber Situational Awareness & Understanding, Computer Vision enabled and scaled via Machine Learning Algorithms, and Enterprise detection of spoofed position, navigation, and timing (PNT) data internal and customer driven efforts.


    The CTO oversees the implementation of our strategic objectives focusing on overall technology development and technology utilization plan. The CTO establishes the company technology vision, strategies, and plans for growth working internal to the organization, with industry partners, and with current and potential customers.


    Candidate should be a strategic thinker, an effective communicator, and an expert in technological development.


    Candidate will work directly under the CEO and will act as both a technology and business expert, making decisions that will impact the current and future operations of the company.


    CTO Responsibilities

    • Work with the Director, Business Development & Growth providing current and potential customers with solutions that address their need
    • Work with the Director, Marketing to create material and present at industry events demonstrating RGi’s in depth knowledge of GEOINT, Cyber Situational Awareness & Understanding, Computer Vision enabled and scaled via Machine Learning Algorithms, and Enterprise detection of spoofed PNT topics
    • Outline the goals for research and development for our technological focus areas
    • Make executive decisions on behalf of the company's strategic vision
    • Acting as a mentor to team members.
    • Maintaining a consumer-focused outlook and aiding in the delivering of IT projects to market.
    • Keep abreast of new trends and best practices in the technology landscape
    • Take the initiative in thought leadership, innovation and creativity
    • Aid in proposal design, development, review, pricing, and pricing review


    CTO Required Qualifications & Skills

    • S. Citizenship
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or similar relevant field
    • Minimum of 15 years’ experience in the Information Technology arena, at least 5 years management and strategic experience in this field
    • Strategic thinking and strong business acumen are essential in this role. Well-versed in current technological trends and familiar with a variety of business concepts.
    • Knowledge of technological trends to build strategy
    • Outstanding communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
    • Proactive problem solver and excellent attention to detail
    • Strong interpersonal, verbal communication, presentation, and technical communication skills

    CTO Desired Qualifications & Skills


    • MBA/MS in related filed with 10 years’ experience, 7 of which must be managerial and strategic
    • Prior experience in the U.S. Army, Strategic Intelligence Agency(ies), GEOINT, Cyber Situational Awareness & Understanding, Computer Vision, scaling Machine Learning Algorithms, and/or Assured-PNT (A-PNT)
